As more people have taken a greater interest in decorating then there are other options now available such as leather bed frames. These frames are normally wooden frames that have been covered by a layer of leather, this is a very stylish choice but it should be noted that they will need more care and maintenance to ensure they don't get torn or lose their appearance over time. Many leather beds are made from faux-leather so you won't have to worry if you have apprehensions about animal products as these can look just like leather but not sourced from cows and other animals.
Fabric covered headboards can provide a softer and more appealing backing to your bed and often have some foam or cushioning so that you can lean against it when reading in bed. These can be a good choice if you are likely to want to change them regularly as you can simply fit a new cover over them instead to get a quick change to your bedroom.
